Truthfully, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the way my jewelry was stored before… I just wanted to pretty up the operation a bit 🙂

The first thing I did was raid the kitchen cabinets for every cutesy little bowl I could find and toss them into my jewelry drawer in a misguided attempt to recreate the image above. (That Martha and her irresistibly inspirational pictures!) It took about 5 seconds for me to realize the asymmetry and lack of uniformity would drive me nuts every time I opened the drawer.
Back to the drawing board kitchen cabinet.
The solution: Anthropologie mini latte bowls!
I already had a random few of these bowls, and I try to pick up one or two every now and then when I’m in the store*. Clearly, this jewelry organization remix is a work in progress, but I’m enjoying the process of collecting 🙂
*So many more beautiful colors are available in-store than online. Plus, Anthropologie discontinues old colors (sale!) and introduces new ones a few times a year. I picked up some dark espresso and plum bowls – mini and regular-size – on clearance last December.
This is so cute! I def need to “pretty up” my jewelry storage.
Thank you! A little pretty is such a day-brightener! Now, I’m feeling like I need to “pretty up” my wardrobe 🙂

I LOVE this!!!! I’m going to go get some bowls!!
Thank you, Ashley! The selection of colors in Anthro stores is really nice… there are a couple new blues I’ve got my eye on. Plus, the bowls are so multifunctional that if you decide to do something else with your jewelry, it’s not money wasted.

Okay…you have got to stop giving me reasons to spend money. I love it!
Ha! I should’ve included a disclaimer that I am NOT responsible for any impulse purchases from Anthro!
