Green Smoothie Ingredients: Kale, Banana, and Grape

This sweet smoothie – along with THIS ONE – is especially great for those who want to sneak in some greens increase their green veggie intake without involving the actual taste of green veggies, which is masked by very ripe fruit.

Blend together the following:

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen; the latter makes the smoothie very velvety and creamy)
  • 2 cups red kale, thick center rib removed
