There’s something about monochromatic dressing that I’m into right now. Maybe it’s the ease of dressing (just throw on a few things in the same color…exactly zero time and effort expended), or maybe it’s that I get to wear my favorite colors head-to-(almost)-toe. It’s probably a little of both 🙂
Side note: Initially, I had on a navy blazer as well, but it looked too something. I don’t know. I swapped it out for this olive jacket and green crossbody purse before leaving the house.
- Jacket: Levi’s (dressed up a bit in this post)
- Shirt: J Crew (layered here and here)
- Pants: J Crew (SO want the khaki ones!)
- Bag: J Crew
- Sunnies: Ray-Ban
- Loafers: Cole Haan (worn with a skirt in this post)
Monochromatic looks are great easy looks. I love that you are loving your loafers!
I am SO in love with these loafers!!! They are right up there on Converse All Star status *gasp* for me. Mmmmm. Do you think I need them in black? I don’t. Do I?

Loving the Minnie pant and the jacket.
Thank you! I just picked up the Minnie in bright red this weekend. When I was debating on which size to get, my favorite salesman peaked around the corner and said, “Always go for the sexy!” Ha! Love it 🙂 Several salespeople advised me to get them in the smallest size I could possibly wear because they stretch a bit. I’m glad I sized down.

love this look, I love the color pairing!
Thank you! Olive and navy are both great neutrals in their own right, too.

Picked up my red Minnie this weekend. I think they need to be an inch or two shorter but oh well…plight of the short people. Still a great pant.
Yay! (I really want Minnie’s in every non-neon color.) Maybe you could give them a chic little cuff or wear them with really high heels?
