Shawl-Collar Cardi and Vintage Calvin’s

Clearly, I have a thing for red, white, and blue color schemes and nautical attire… I wonder where that came from? I do love the beach, and while I don’t think I want to be a sailor, I do enjoy dressing like one 🙂

I even went to one of those military surplus stores, convinced that I was going to find authentic peacoats, real-real sailor pants, and maybe even a captain’s cap (squeal!). It was all wishful thinking because I left that place scared, empty-handed, and happy to get the heck out of there.
