Entertaining: Spring Party

Entertaining: Spring Party

Hub and I hosted a small family get-together last month, and it really reminded me how much I truly do LOVE to entertain. I have to do it more often: at the drop of a hat and for absolutely no reason at all 🙂

Entertaining: Spring Party: Lemonade and Peach Iced Tea

Lemonade and Peach Iced Tea

I don’t remember where I bought these glass beverage jars – Crate & Barrel, maybe? HomeGoods? – but they are definitely one of my entertaining staples. Although they don’t leak unless I forget to turn the lever to the “off” position, I usually place the jars on a cooling rack with a bar mop underneath to catch any condensation and drips.

Silverware in Mini Terracotta Pots

The napkin rings, menu, and butterflies were crafted from regular card stock and scrapbook paper. I don’t actually scrapbook, but I can’t resist pretty papers.

Rosemary Roasted Potatoes and Lemon & Garlic Green Beans

I ordered chicken fingers from Publix, just in case the kiddies in attendance weren’t feeling chicken salad sandwiches. They weren’t, lol.

For dessert, we served homemade pecan pie, which I forgot to photograph, and this crowd pleasing strawberry cream cake from Whole Foods.
