Quick Tip: Stationery Organization

Use Ribbon to Organize Stationery

This is a quick, easy, and most importantly, pretty way to organize lots of stationery in a relatively small space: Simply stack each type of card with its matching envelope, and secure with a length of ribbon. (I picked up this gray gingham from the $1 bin at Michael’s and most of these notecards from TJMaxx.) It makes me smile every time I open the box 🙂

  1. OMG. You don’t know how bad I needed this blog post. I am starting to create my little writing nook in my tiny house and am trying to figure out the best storage for many items, stationary included. Thank you!

You’re welcome! A writing nook sounds so decadent! Have you tried The Container Store or an art supply store for inspiration? I don’t know if they have them on the West Coast, but Sam Flax here in Atlanta is the ultimate inspo spot: they have the prettiest papers, stationery, and odds & ends 🙂 Please let me know how your nook turns out… or better yet, post pics!

Thank you, Ms. Shannon! I bought about 3 rolls of the ribbon so I wouldn’t run out 🙂

  3. Oh how I love stationary. I don’t purchase as much of it as I would like because I don’t have a dedicated space to store it. This is a great idea!

Thank you, Mimi! I love stationery, too, so I had to find a space-saving way to justify buying more 🙂
