Here’s a look at what’s in my beach bag:
- Water and a healthy snack
- Reading material: a book and magazines
- Clean-up crew: hand sanitizer and baby wipes
- Sunscreen for sensitive skin: Oil of Olay Complete (face) and California Baby Super Sensitive (body); I mix the latter with regular body lotion so it doesn’t give my skin a white coating.
- Lip balm
What are your beach bag must-haves?
Great post. Spending those 2 days at the Isle of Palm in Charleston, I had to pack a pretty big beach bag since we weren’t staying actually on the beach. But surprisingly I didn’t have to carry that much stuff.
Beach bag must haves: sunscreen, iPad (for music and books and magazines), towels (of course), ziploc bags (for wet clothes/towels/trash), dry clothes.
Because we spent literally all day at the beach I also packed a small rolling cooler. Best $20 spent! It held EVERYTHING. Sandwiches from subway, 3 bottled waters, gatorade, chips, fruit snacks, apples & almond butter. Folks walking by were lusting over my snacks! 🙂
Ooooo that does sound good! I would’ve been one of those people looking at your snacks, too! Also, good tip on adding ziploc bags!
