I was supposed to read The Four Agreements on my trip to NYC, but when we got to the airport, I could NOT find the copy I’d borrowed from a friend. I’m telling you, I looked all over the car and didn’t see a trace of that book*! Not being one to travel without some type of reading material, I randomly picked up The Paris Wife from an airport convenience store**, and I’m so glad I did. It was truly a great read and is already out on friend loan 🙂
*How about the book was in the pocket of the passenger side door the whole time? (I could have sworn I looked there!)
**I appreciate that the prices of books and magazines aren’t inflated in airports, unlike the $6 Naked Juice Green Machine I bought at LaGuardia. Still shaking my head about that one.
