Peach Iced Sweet Tea

Recipe: Peach Iced Sweet Tea

This peach iced sweet tea was a big hit at a recent Spring Party, and I think it will make a great addition to any barbecue or casual get-together 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 4 quarts + 3/4 cup water
  • 18 Darjeeling black tea bags
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • ice

Recipe: Peach Iced Tea

  • Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil in a large stock pot.
  • Add tea bags, and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • While tea is steeping, add  remaining 3/4 cup water and peaches to a blender, and blend until finely pureed.
  • Remove tea bags, stir in sugar, and mix in pureed peaches.
  • Chill tea in the refrigerator.
  • Add tea a lots of ice to a container, stir, and serve. This recipe makes a fairly strong brew, so the ice is imperative. Plus, it IS iced tea, so… 🙂

  1. I wouldn’t have guessed you pureed the peaches. I was thinking just dump them in like olive garden lol, but that makes sense–a better way to infuse the peach flavor without using artificial syrup. You could do the same with strawberries for the lemonade 🙂

  2. Mm, both of these look so refreshing!
