True to his word, hub bought a waffle maker and got to work making some Wafles & Dinges-like waffles. The recipe literally took three days to make – what with all the dough rising, resting, and refrigerating steps coupled with hub’s busy work schedule – but the result was SO YUMMY!!! (Oh, how I love that man )
*The recipe contained loads of a type of sugar that caramelizes on top of the waffle and makes a kind of buttery candy coating. Did I mention that I looooove that man?
