Print Mixing 101 (Part II)

Here are 2 more ways to ease – or jump!- into mixing prints using what you already have in your closet!

  • Incorporate tone-on-tone prints. This look would also work with a navy and white striped top, but this tonal, lightweight sweater is a more subtle option.

  • Sweater: Banana Republic
  • Jacket: BCBG
  • Shorts: Crewcuts
  • Shoes: Seychelles
  • Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

  • Combine small- and large-scale patterns. This tiny dot print button-down reads as solid from a distance, and pairs well with the larger argyle pattern.

  • Sweater: J Crew
  • Shirt: Club Monaco
  • Jeans: Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren
  • Shoes: Madewell
  • Sunnies: Ray-Ban
